The Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences is designed to prepare students for medical, dental, physician assistant, pharmacy or veterinary schools as well as careers in research, pharmacology or biotech. Our unique courses help you discover the perfect biomedicine career as you refine your skills. You’ll build a ready-to-go professional portfolio that immediately sets you apart, making you competitive for jobs, graduate programs or advanced studies right after graduation.
The Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences prepares you for diverse and leadership-oriented careers by cultivating expert-level research independence, advanced analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate and manage complex scientific projects in academic, industrial and clinical settings.
Note: Ph.D. program is scheduled for Fall 2026 launch with the inaugural cohort, pending final approval from SACSCOC.

Pursuit of Advanced Health Graduate Programs
A Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences provides a rigorous pre-professional foundation by covering the core scientific prerequisites (like biochemistry, human physiology and molecular biology) required for entrance exams (e.g., MCAT, DAT) and advanced coursework, while also cultivating the essential critical thinking and research skills necessary for success in clinical and public health graduate programs, such as medical, dental, optometry and other health doctoral programs.
